About Atlas Equipment Co.

We exist to help distributors destroy downtime.

Our entire team brings unparalleled experience to the battle against downtime. The most important relationship is with each of our distributors. We work together, we listen. We help their customers run longer, more safely and profitably, and get exactly what they need when they need it. Suppliers, machinists, skilled repair and assembly folks, shipping and inventory pros work as one to help our customers succeed. No excuses.

The quality of the product is a given. The quality of our relationships is no less important.

Patrick Mears

Patrick heads our team. He’s a former miner and brewer and marketing pro. Strategy, innovation, and accountability drive Patrick’s work with distributors. He rarely sits down. He’s constantly upping the bar on what we can provide distributors.

Dean Taylor

Dean just returned to the fold after years getting to know folks throughout the industry. He’s built an encyclopedic knowledge of best practices for different operations. Dean dares you to stump him on any question related to severe duty pumps!

Gordon Heinrichs

Gordon Heinrichs grew up on a farm, so he learned early that he needed to be able to fix anything. He earned a degree in electrical engineering from San Jose State University and applied his expertise to the important work of pumps. He specialized in slurry pumps, becoming an acknowledged industry leader. He continues advising on pump choices and resolving pump problems. As a senior pump specialist, he enjoys mentoring young engineers. He is still an active pilot flying in the Civil Air Patrol, snow skiing on the blue diamond routes and is involved in the local community services district Fire Protection Committee.
